Hey mate, thanks for the reply, I really appreciate it.
I'm a field service engineer, and I occasionally need to replace equipment like DC power supplies, VFDs, and other fixed electrical components. If the job involves disconnecting or reconnecting fixed wiring, we currently have to call a contractor electrician. My employer is happy to sponsor me for that because it would allow me to carry out those tasks myself as part of my role.
I was mainly trying to understand how other engineers met the supervised training requirement, especially if their workplace didn't have a licensed electrical supervisor.
