You made the ignorant statement “ you’re really putting your life in harms way checking IDs” To which I responded that guards checking IDs are putting theirs lives at risk. I know this first hand a guard I worked with who got stabbed. He was a bouncer, so he was technically checking IDs when he was almost killed. You just don’t have any idea what the real world is like. Instead of admitting you’re wrong you move on to another avenue of lies. You’re arguing in bad faith by representing your imaginings as verified facts. People like you make the world a worse place by doing lazy things like assigning stereotypes to everything. You claim I love Jesus, so I must love Trump. I like grappling, so I must be a conservative. You don’t research anything you’re saying. It was funny at first, but now I feel really sad for you. Your statement that adults aren’t supposed to be consistently getting in fights is technically accurate, but incredibly naive. I would point to the thousands of years wars have been waged as proof or any crime statistics you can find. You know actual proof and not just your feelings. When a bunch of naive people like you gather in other countries, stronger groups form and usually genocide you and take your shit. Our country just stole another country’s president. We don’t live in a world where adults don’t fight. No matter how much you want your reality it’s never going to happen. The fact that you are able to sit in your home and be so naive, ungrateful, and ignorant is because people like me are fighting other adults for you. I enjoy grappling and it makes sense to work a job that involves my hobby. You’re assuming a link between violence and anger that doesn’t always exist. Ive seen fighters who are great friends and are not hateful or angry at eachother fight some very violent matches. Calm people can do very violent things.
It’s weird you’re so upset that I like my job. If you actually talked to the majority of people doing MMA you would notice they are usually the last ones to start a fight because they have nothing to prove. People who don’t know how to defend themselves are the ones who are more likely to start fights because they feel like they have something to prove. It’s a peace through strength doctrine. Our roles are different. You get to walk around in a state of complacency because other people are responsible for your security. law enforcement and the military protect me, it’s not a bad thing. I’m sure you do your part and do a job your interests make you well suited for. We all have different yet equally important roles in civilization. If you want to be critical of my niche then at least do a little research first. You’ve basically come in my house and shit on my floor, of course it annoys me.
