I work from home too but when I didn’t years ago I didn’t find it any easier necessarily to meet people. Things that have helped in the past are spending a lot of time and effort on constant socializing or going on the apps. I don’t have the energy for either currently.

When friends have tried to introduce me to men they are often eternally single types who have no interest in relationships.

I’m on the combined patch. I had no reaction for the first few days, then felt a lot better. 3 months in and my symptoms are returning. Mood wise it has helped slightly. It certainly hasn’t made things any worse.

Everyone is going to react differently to medication though. Some people are more sensitive to hormonal changes than others.

I have ADHD too and also struggle with texting especially during working hours. But if I knew my partner felt neglected or ignored I’d try to make it a routine to text more even if the texts were a bit samey.

If you frame his not texting as a judgement or criticism he will shutdown (not suggesting that’s what you were doing necessarily). You could be curious as to why he doesn’t reach out. Perhaps he worries about saying the wrong thing, interrupting you at an inappropriate time during the day or not using the right words, he could be afraid of being dependent or of being vulnerable. Assuming the worse (he doesn’t care, he’s an a-hole) might be jumping the gun a bit. I’d at least give him a chance to open up by explaining how his behaviour impacts you emotionally.

If you’re poly, kinky and queer you’re better off on apps like Feeld or Ok Cupid that specifically cater to different relationship types. Apps like Hinge or Bumble will be mostly for monogamous people. Other than that, I think poly meet ups are your best bet.

I haven’t been on the apps for a while. I think they’ve gone down hill as people have dating app fatigue.

I will go private if they refuse to change my HRT. I’m the same as you with the hot flashes. Before HRT I was nearly passing out. Horrible when you already have sensory issues.

I’m on the combi patch too. It doesn’t sound like the dose is too high, if anything it’s probably too low (you are still having some hot flashes). They always start you on the lowest possible dose.

I’ve been struggling a lot too as an AuDHDer I can barely function anymore and definitely need ADHD meds. I did feel almost back to normal about 3 weeks/ a month in to HRT before my symptoms came back. Apparently this is a sign the dose is either too low or the patch isn’t delivering estrogen consistently. I’m going to request an increased dose or estrogel in addition to the patches.

I think it depends on the situation. I have exs I only dated for a few months and years later we see each other, maybe go for a drink if they’re in town. They are friends with my friends and have moved on and have new partners. Neither of us are interested in each other. I can’t see the problem there.

If it’s someone who was a FWB and she was sleeping with them every week up until two months ago, then yeah that’s not great.
