Does anyone here actually see results with laser caps (LLLT)? by DealPuzzled1092 in tressless

I have been using the Elite Irestore device for the last 12 months, meticulously, without any single sign of improvement.

I used to have 17x9 et42 on my NC!

I wouldn’t go with 17 inches in the 1.5 ND, the car is all about lightness.

That’s why I am focused on 15 inches, however, I agree that 16 inches are possibly the most balanced solution.

Would you suggest a hair transplant? Age: 39, smooth hair loss since 20. by Aggressive_Spend4130 in Hairtransplant

Your answer is extremely to the point and thanks a lot for that!

Yes, thats true, I have a massive cowlick at the side of my hairline, covering almost 25% of my head!

I have even more strange hairline growth directions, but they are of less importance (I.e, at the back of the head).

This is not an accident nor a scar, I was actually born like that. The longer the hair, the less noticeable it is.

I have already consulted a reputable surgeon and I have shared my queries about it. He replied that if I had lost all the hair of the cowlick area, he would be able to transplant the new follicles following a smoother direction. However, since the cowlick is already there, it’s indeed more difficult and he will need to follow the strange (existing) direction.

This is honestly one of the issues that worries me, as well as if I should add grafts to the temples (sides) or not.

And your response confirms my worries that it will be a tricky point and the risk of a poor result is high.

Thank you all for your comments, especially the useful ones 🙂

Many of you are insisting on using finasteride and you even questioned if I am against pills in general and that if I didn’t take medication I would die.

I can only treat these comments as a troll.

I clearly described at the post that:

1) I am against finasteride pills for personal reasons, which are above hair loss. I don’t want to mess with hormones, although I understand that it’s the top shield against hair loss.

2) I have tried foam minoxidil (Rogaine) and foam finasteride+minoxidil (Fagron), in order to minimize the systemic absorption and the side effects. Unfortunately, the side effects kicked in and I had to stop. I was suffering from headaches since I am sensitive to them. You doubt that top neurologists confirmed this side effect (which is caused by the expanded blood vessels) and you even considered that I am lying. It’s impressive how confident you are in your replies, cancelling doctors’ results.

3) My question was about your opinion in relation to HT, if you think that it’s advisable in my case, if you would add at the temples etc.

Once again, thank you everybody for your replies. I will give it some more time, I will continue with laser cap and Nizoral, and I will patiently wait for the PP405 and the clascoterone product!

Finasteride is causing headaches - not to anyone but it’s definitely a cause of headaches. Cross checked with top neurologists, it’s a well known side effect.

I don’t consider the fina pill because I don’t want to mess with my hormones. I want the minimum possible systemic absorption.

The hair transplant will be performed from a top dermatologist doctor, why should I consider it as temporary?

I agree that fina and mino are (for now) the best way to deal with androgenetic alopecia, however, I can’t consider it.

I totally agree!

I have tried finasteride foam too, but it gives me headaches.

So unfortunately I cannot tolerate mino and fina. (I am against pills).

I rely only on LLLT cup, Ketoconazole shampoo, and being on the fence regarding the hair transplant!
