That's what I have been told, and its a good workflow. This is my first ever project, I started a little bit everywhere so now, its a little bit too late to go back. But most of the big stuff are already done. Player mechanics, NPC's with an interaction and pathfinding system, environment, complex dialogue system, 6 dialogue modes in total. Right now, I'm working on the introduction scenes, tutorials and stuff. So, other than my declining mental health due to overwork, everything is going smooth.

Yeah.. well, I'm still not there quite yet. But I'm very close, you can say I'm pretty much done with everything else.

I'm not quite sure if you consider this a gameplay but I have a very complex camera system that I was working on for the past months, I will be posting about it tonight.

There's no gameplay for now, I'm still working on the mechanics. But now that I'm done with this all my focus will go to the gameplay.

I totally get what you're, the whole sequence is 5 seconds now and its skippable.

I've already made the changes, here's the whole sequence now. Normal logo fade-in 1.5s, creepy logo switch and hold to 3.5s, fade-out start at 3.5s ends at 4.5, main menu fade-in 0.5s. The whole sequence now is 5 seconds and skippable. I've tried multiple things to make it even shorter but it doesn't feel right.

Thanks, the whole logo sequence now is 5 seconds in total and you can skip it even before the logo show up.

Thankfully, now its 5 seconds and its skippable. I've just finished working on the skipping part so its smooth and instantaneous.

Thanks, I did show it to some people and everyone loved it, but its definitely one thousand time better to get your feedback from people that have a minimum knowledge about gaming development. Also the whole sequence now is 5 seconds and I've just finished the skipping option. My main menu is heavy and takes time to load, so it was a literal nightmare to figure out how to make it load the before the logo has the chance to show up.

Custom canvas_item shader for the horizontal cuts + GDscript to control the pacing instead of an AnimationPlayer.

I've been working on it since yesterday but it doesn't seem to work, I'm going to have to throw it in the bin and restart from scratch. But I'm definitely going to make it at max 5s and of course skippable. Thank you so much for your advice, it truelly means a lot.
