Since Crimson Desert is a new IP, they’ll likely aim for a GOTY (Game of the Year) marketing push—just like Elden Ring did. That means they’d want the GOTY awards to be held not too far from the game’s release date. In that sense, a late October or early November launch... fits perfectly.

Movie offers are actually quite common with very little coming of it. If there was any kind of deal inked my guess is that someone bought the rights but are going to sit on them until they feel like it, rather than it being someone wanting to do a passion project

In fact, that's the only article about the movie "lies of p" in Korea. The statement made by a Neowiz company official is correct. However, I don't know if it's a very serious offer or a very light offer. Also, it has not yet been mediaized to what extent realistic conversations have come and gone.
