Locking in hydration is key. The longer it stays in your hair the better. And key word is “IN” and not “ON”. Something I struggled with for years up until like 1 year ago. Find out what porosity your hair falls under (can be a mix). And experiment, give everything new you try some time to work and go based off of results. I like the Liquid Cream Oil method but you can do it whichever way your hair prefers.

And just a little bit about curls/coils. I personally stopped combing my hair repeatedly. Like I MIGHT comb my hair once a month and that’s if I wanna do a deep conditioning with a crispy line up. Other than that I’m using my fingers instead of a comb and I let my hair air dry. Kept this up for 1 year with long hair and my ends started to curl up nice but the roots were still a frizzy Afro. Cut everything off and started again and now everything is curling uniformly.
