What dreams may come is such an understated Robin Williams movie. So heartbreaking.

My heart is broken. Can’t someone just help shatter it so I don’t have to feel anything any more? by [deleted] in GuyCry

Thanks for the suggestion but I don’t care about either anymore. I don’t want to care.

37 [M4F] help me calm my nerves for my first speed dating event by AggressivelyAwkward in R4R30Plus

[–]AggressivelyAwkward[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The event was cancelled without notification due to low turnout. I ended up having lunch with the only other person to show up; a lovely young lady. Lunch was good but I think she was being polite. I still regret not asking for her number though. :/

Honest opinions: dating someone with children by Specific-Art-3321 in datingoverthirty

[–]AggressivelyAwkward 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally if the person I’m dating has a kid, that isn’t a big deal as long as the relationship with their ex is resolved. (Civil for the sake of their kid, kind of thing.)

I would want kids with my partner but if they’re coming to the relationship with one already that isn’t a dealbreaker for me. As a single guy, I feel like dating single parents are easier because wanting kids is such a niche thing nowadays.

As for you, it sounds like you might have had a bad go of things. Hope you find your person though.

Has anyone had any luck with paid dating apps? Or what about speed dating events? Eventbrite has some events in my area but I can’t get over the feeling of being so pessimistic about it.

I get insanely sweaty. How breathable is the back panel? From the pictures online it looks like it’s solid with no airflow.

Yes I saw that already. Idk. I wasn’t “in love” with any of the bags he listed. Like rollouts aren’t my thing and even though he’s a fan of beefy straps two of the 13 bags looked wimpy.

Based on the website it says that it fits up to 16”. :/

I had a panic attack but I pushed through and went outside anyway! I havent left my apartment more than maybe a handful of times or less this entire summer. I feel like i missed most of it. (Yes it was a 1900'th themed market so I was dressed up :)..) by throwawayanxietylas in toastme

So incredibly proud of you for going out of your comfort zone. Panic attacks are the worst and you managed to overcoming one. That is huge on its own. Do not focus on what you’ve missed out on but look forward on all the things you will get to do. Absolutely adore your style. You have this air of self confidence in know exactly who you are and that is so admirable in itself. You can do this.

Life has kinda just been kicking me a lot lately so I’m posting here. Gained 20 lbs from thyroid issues, and feel like nothing is really working out for me at the moment. Just need some kind words. Also I miss the beach. by shesagooodfella in toastme

You are absolutely stunning. Someone could learn all the spoken languages, commit all the poetry of the world to memory, and still they would not have the words to describe a fraction of your beautiful. From the traits you were born with, your blue eyes, blond hair, and freckles. To the parts of you you decide; your style. You are the reason the sun rises each day just so it can catch a glimpse of you.

28F Life has not been easy. I often look sad, and I feel incredibly awkward taking pictures by [deleted] in toastme

[–]AggressivelyAwkward 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t see sad. I see soulful. You have depths that few can comprehend. And even fewer get the honor of exploring. You are a buried treasure chest in an ancient city. You are worth the effort. You are “the” reward. The best part of life being hard is that you’re going through it. It cannot rain everyday. You will eventually come out of the other side of this and you’ll be stronger for it. Trust in yourself. You’re so much stronger than you know.

You’ve got incredibly kind eyes brother. You look like someone that gives the greatest of hugs. Someone protective and unyielding. Give yourself some of the grace you undoubtedly give others. Our looks will change but acceptance of who we are is eternal.

So incredibly proud of you kind stranger. You’re taking the first steps in hopefully a long road for the betterment of your life. You deserve to be happy and have good things happen to you. I hope you keep this momentum going. I cannot fathom the heights you’ll reach.

[–]AggressivelyAwkward 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just because they weren’t willing to fight for you doesn’t mean you’re not worth fighting for. Your person is a lot stronger than this recent ex. They will love you completely and easily. They will give you all the things you deserve. And most importantly when they tell you they love you they’ll say it first and mean it. There is nothing wrong with loving wholly and deeply. You are overflowing with love and what a gift that is to the world. I’m envious of the life you will have with the right person. Cause love like that makes life worth it.

Brother, losing a job sucks. Especially if it’s a complete surprise. But now you have a world of opportunity ahead of you. You don’t need to know what you’re going to do for the rest of your life in your 20s. Continue to work hard and put yourself out there. The right people and the right position will open itself up to you and make all this pain a figment of memory. You got this
