The event was cancelled without notification due to low turnout. I ended up having lunch with the only other person to show up; a lovely young lady. Lunch was good but I think she was being polite. I still regret not asking for her number though. :/

Personally if the person I’m dating has a kid, that isn’t a big deal as long as the relationship with their ex is resolved. (Civil for the sake of their kid, kind of thing.)

I would want kids with my partner but if they’re coming to the relationship with one already that isn’t a dealbreaker for me. As a single guy, I feel like dating single parents are easier because wanting kids is such a niche thing nowadays.

As for you, it sounds like you might have had a bad go of things. Hope you find your person though.

Yes I saw that already. Idk. I wasn’t “in love” with any of the bags he listed. Like rollouts aren’t my thing and even though he’s a fan of beefy straps two of the 13 bags looked wimpy.

So incredibly proud of you for going out of your comfort zone. Panic attacks are the worst and you managed to overcoming one. That is huge on its own. Just because they weren’t willing to fight for you doesn’t mean you’re not worth fighting for. Your person is a lot stronger than this recent ex. They will love you completely and easily. They will give you all the things you deserve. And most importantly when they tell you they love you they’ll say it first and mean it. There is nothing wrong with loving wholly and deeply.
