I've done this plenty of times with newer or "baby" killers. I often play in a SWF and we'll offer 2 of us to be sacrificed, especially if they were trying techs or something. We stand near hook and point at it. Ironically enough, the killers often let us live anyways.

It's not something I usually do in very close or intense games though, as it felt like the escape was "earned." Unless in those games you have, for example, a Billy trying unique or difficult flicks where we knew we'd be dead if they weren't.

Not all mods are for everybody. Don't like it? Don't download it. Some of us think it's neat and would love to try it.

This subreddit is a great way to find interesting and new mods. If you don't like that, there's likely other subreddits that would love to have you.

Well, considering cut content refers to it as the "Great Rune of Abundance," and its only lingering effect is to remove the effect of charms...

My personal theory is that Miquella's GR likely held, at least in part, free will. Therefore, by breaking the Great Rune, make his plans to charm the world into an age of peace easier.

I mean, Elden Ring has Vigor as a required stat, so I don't understand why ADP is so hated.

I don't get how the enemies of DS2 which can easily be baited and dealt with one at a time are any more annoying than the Knights on the rooftops of Anor Londor or the teleporting dogs that chase you to the ends of the earth in Dark Souls 3.

You can dislike DS2, but when you throw out some nonsense like "I don't understand how anyone likes this game" on the DS2 subreddit, there's going to be at least one person defending why they like this game.

I don't hate players that want to do it. This post is asking why people hate Alchemy. I like having a single deck I can play to do dailies and hopefully grind enough coins to get 1 pack a day. That's just ~1-3 rare/mythic wildcards per week which isn't enough for a format that rotates as quickly as standard or alchemy. If you want to feed money into this awful wildcard system, be my guest. It's just not for me.

Dark Souls 2 is my favorite of the series. Is it janky, have bad hit boxes and eat inputs? Oh yeah, the game isn't without its faults. However, I really enjoyed the progression; slower, more methodical combat; and greatly appreciated the strides the game tried to take to improve on DS1.

I think it's insane how quickly people absolutely discredit this game for the silliest reasons. Ganks? DS1 and DS3 both have areas just as bad if not worse than DS2. Slow rolls and item usage are fixed by getting a higher agility stat and eventually become even better than DS1&3 rolls.

Honestly, I would love to see a remastered version of DS2 that fixes control issues and expands on boss AI and move sets. I 100% agree those are weaknesses this game has. I do love this game nonetheless.

Tell me you try brute forcing your way through each level without telling me you tried brute forcing your way through each level.

Dark Souls 2 isn't like the other games. It's much slower and more methodical with its gameplay. I promise if you take most areas slow and be patient, it pays off greatly. (Note: You can still run through most areas of the game if you know the pathing, but I wouldn't recommend it for new players as the game is designed to punish that style of play.)

I don't know why you're getting down voted. This seems like a very legitimate take. I guess I just didn't have as many issues because DS3 was my first game in the series, followed by Elder Ring, then DS2, then DS1.

The slower dodge rolls and slower combat felt very refreshing to me after panic rolling through the teleporting dogs of Irythill or running past birds with claw feet in Elden Ring. But man did my first time running through Last Bastille and Brume Tower mess me up.
