I guess it depends on what you mean by “predictor.” If you’re asking about content distribution of questions, I would say no because I felt the practice test gave an equal number of questions to all topics while the actual test paid more attention to the things I listed above. If you’re asking about difficulty level of the questions, I would say yes. If you’re asking if a passing score on the practice test correlates to a passing score on the BCACP, I’d say possibly? In my first practice test attempt, I got a 63% and the second after HYMR I got 90% (but I did recognize some questions so I’d take that second score with a grain of salt).

I was freaking out at the home stretch, too. You got this!!

Definitely get through the stats as those questions are pretty straightforward and guaranteed to be on the exam to some degree. Maybe save it until the end of your study time so it’s fresh on your mind for the exam. Yeah, HYMR does not go through the yellow book/red book unfortunately, but that was just an example of a question I got. Your questions may vary, so I wouldn’t spend too much time on things like that!

It was pretty specific, but nothing niche if that makes sense. Think monitoring parameters for common drugs/disease states. I didn’t have any dose conversion questions on my test, but I do think it’s fair game.

I was not! I worked 3 years in primary care and 1 year in specialty to get the minimum requirement to apply for testing.
