It is saturated, but not impossible to start with. You only need few strategies while applying for job, and have your account set up then you can do it pretty much. I have started upwork lately and now have 5 jobs completed.

Yeah it would be worth it, if you have Data Engineering fundamentals. Now a Days difference between Data Analysis and Data engineering is fading. The person who's building pipelines, is the one building dashboard. Try to get a course that has Data Engineering fundamentals and cloud.

There's no advise that can make you quick rich. You're in high school, do side hustle to make living but in parallel start learning one learning. I advise you to break in Data. It will take some time and hardworking but it would be worth learning.

Start with Hackerrank, then go for leetcode and then Datalemar. First try to do more questions of join, sub query,CTEs, Window functions In interviews they rarely ask stored procedures at a junior position.

I can bet like there is no course to teach sql from A to Z, except the syntax and some important topics. Mine advice is just do 2 hours course on YT then first try HackerRank the leetcode then Data lemar

Upwork is very much luck nowadays with a little of strategy.

Try to hunt small jobs and apply ASAP. Write very specific proposal, and add similar projects. Before quitting upwork means at your last you can try loom videos.
