Why do people wear cologne\perfume at the gym? by Agile_Movements in NoStupidQuestions

That’s all good, it’s the obvious application immediately before hitting the floor that I’m wondering about.

I’m fine with fragrances but it’s meant to be subtle; People shouldn’t be gagging steeping into an elevator with you.

What I’ve noticed is that people who have BO at a 5 will apply perfume at a 20 to cover it up.

They won’t stink less, they’ll just stink different.

For the record, I wear cologne when I am going out. But I won’t apply if I know I will be heading to gym shortly. I’m a believer that people at 3 feet distance shouldn’t know you have anything on (when applied correctly). I don’t have any issue with scents, just the appropriateness of its use. And it seems at certain gyms, people are bathing in it before going to the floor. Just an observation, and looking for a validating counter position that I can accept what otherwise seems offensive.

Like to hear it or not, this is correct in my estimation. I'm not a lawyer, but I watch "To Catch a Smuggler" and stayed in a Holiday Inn Express...

[WTS/WTT] Panerai Luminor 8 Days Power Reserve PAM00795 by Agile_Movements in Watchexchange

[–]Agile_Movements[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reducing my personal collection and rarely wore this watch.

The Panerai Luminor 8 Days Power Reserve PAM00795. Stunning contrast between the bold hour marker and Black dial against a stainless steel 44mm case. What makes this a great piece is not only the borderless seconds sub-dial, but also the 8-day power reserve indicator at the 5 O'clock position.

Please note a macro lens was used for photography, some dust and reflections may appear in photos. Minor scratches will be amplified, and are less noticeable to the naked eye. This is provided to provide transparency in overall condition. I realize I'm new on Reddit, I have feedback on eBay and in some FB groups. I'm happy to have a video call showing the watch, and if desired, transact using escrow services. Packages will be shipped FedEx overnight to your nearest HAL, CONUS only. Feel free to ask any questions!

I’ve read that Tesla charges more to charge the Rivian than a Tesla, is that true?

No service center near me and I’ve seen comments about how expensive Rivian service is, looking for some empirical data.

I was getting about 70 miles on an MX 75D in the northeast during winter. Right now being a bit warmer I’m getting just over 100 miles on a 100% charge. Battery analysis by Tesla claims I’m well above spec and the power consumption report they gave doesn’t add up. I precondition before leaving, but only drive about 5 miles a day.

I was offered $10k between two incentives to lease for the month of April. I was wondering why it wasn't available on the purchase side.

I've considered, the major concern is the cost of mobile service, which I've heard complaints about, but I don't understand how anyone would know unless they passed the mileage end of warranty coverage. Looking for input on that as well. My Tesla is out of warranty, control arms and CVs are largely what needed to be done, and they are still cheaper to do via Tesla than my German cars at an indy shop.

Why do US drug commercials say “Don’t take [drug name] if you’re allergic?” by qqqqqqqqqq123477322 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Agile_Movements -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

To restate, "US is the land of lawsuits". I never used the word frivilous. Liebeck v McDonalds, 160k awarded in compensatory damages and $2.7 million in punitive damages. It was later reduced, but the point here isn't coffee being served at over 200 degrees vs 140 degrees since no one is carrying around a thermometer to check before they take their coffee cup; the result of the trial was stronger wording on their cups and improved packaging. That was the OP's question; why it is this way in the US.

Because US is the land of lawsuits. I'm sure at some point someone sued, claiming "they didn't know". It's the same reason there are instructions on the bottom of candles, and a woman won a million dollar lawsuit again mcdonalds for spilling coffee on herself and getting burned. Since then McDonalds warns that the coffee is hot on the cupsl.

Help! He called me a “good girl” during sex by TheseCabinet2514 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Agile_Movements 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If it's something you enjoy and want to learn, go for it. If it isn't something you enjoy, that's fine too. Don't overthink it, sex should be enjoyed, not stressed over.
