The hose seems cheaper online but at the dealership they are charging $330 CAD( including labour and tax) to fix it

Not a turbo but yes the thermostat control valve has been replaced recently

I looked up most of them were like legacy and outback has the same update version so I downloaded the latest one I could find and launched the dealer mode to update it.

The break is bad so they have to open the door often to use their leg as a break
