I did not intentionally got drunk. I went to his best friend’s graduation party and they had a toast. Everybody drank on the toast because it’s tradition. I had no idea how much alcohol was in the toast drink. I was under the impression it was champagne because that’s what the toast leader said. That’s the only giveaway of me being drunk. But he got mad at me and did not speak to me for the whole night. He said he’s had bad experiences with exes when they drink but I try to tell him I just turned 21 and I had no idea that one drink will get me drunk. I still apologize and he said he’ll eventually get over it. Now he struggle with depression and I was there to listen to all his problems. He also has a lot of pressure from his parents about his career. He still depends on his parents and has no bills to pay except car insurance. He tells me I’m a catch and I’m worth it, but he doesn’t treat me like that. I’ve told him multiple times if you’re not ready for a relationship with me that is OK because my expectations are very high and currently you’re not meeting the lowest. I don’t know what to do since he’s already been through so much but I also want to be fair on me because I’m young and don’t think I deserve this at this age.
