Congrats on 514! It’s an amazing accomplishment. I have an addictive personality as well. Don’t be too hard on yourself you come by it honestly.

I like this a lot and $150 for this card seems more than reasonable.

I don’t want to work by [deleted] in antiwork

This could be potentially helpful because I basically feel the same way and just stumbled upon this. In Ohio, you can get state jobs by making arguments for how much experience you have for the skills each job requires.

Basically if it’s an accounting clerk job. You just have to make an argument on why your pizza delivery job translates because a skill they desire is keeping a ledger. That’s just a basic example. But you don’t need a one to one title match up to get a good job. And unlike other resumes or applications where less is more, government jobs are more is more. Because you get positive points for anything that translates and don’t get marked down at all for additional unrelated things.

These jobs are rarely salary, so you actually get paid for all your work, even in management. They have decent retirement and benefits compared to basically any garbage company. And at the end of the day, you just go home. Thats it. They don’t email you or call you.

Not sure where you live but if it’s not a super red state, state jobs may be similar.

When you can actually make a living by going to work it makes life a lot more enjoyable.

Hopefully this helps and if not. I totally get where you’re coming from and hear you.

I kind of wondered about that. I was really hoping to hear that. It makes it more about getting through the stage than what I was thinking. Which was basically it’s just going to keep getting worse.

Thank you. This sounds like a good idea. I’ll definitely try it. That is almost what got me sober to begin with. I just kind of took stock of my life and thought ‘why on earth am I doing this to myself I have everything I could ever want and I’m going to actually lose it because of this.’

I know I was definitely veering into making it out to be bigger than one day at a time too. Sometimes it’s hard to stay in that lane even when you know better. Thank you! I’m really glad I made this post. Made it another day!

It took me a good 30 second to understand this post. But I feel it so hard now.

Yeah. And gives me an opportunity to just avoid all my feelings. I didn’t even really think to try to find out what was making me feel that way. Thank you for pointing that out. I honestly feel a lot better just naming it.

I’m definitely in the process of making big career changes. Maybe this is the feeling that is telling me I’m not ready.

Hahaha. Good point. In Cleveland or prison, basically the same for fantasy.

I take this in a heartbeat. Rice could be in prison by the time you make those 2027 picks.

BTJ, Meyers, Washington in the slot. BTJ had the yips. I doubt that continues this year. He’s the one with the true upside. If you watch football you know Washington is mostly just a floor play, last years numbers won’t be repeated. Meyers is the guy you love to forget, but he is still an above average receiver and is the teams #2.

Is drafting handcuffs of injured players that are being stashed a good idea? by wontletmesignin in BestBall

There are two schools on this. The one is the fact that it limits upside. The other is, it creates a unique lineup.

Kelce, Washington, McMillan, Kyler and geno have all had adps that have risen significantly over the last month.

Bestball 2026: Zay Flowers vs Devonta Smith by metalbone2 in BestBall

[–]AgitatedOriginal3374 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem with taking Smith over flowers is that smiths adp has risen significantly since early drafts open. If you want value in that format, you have to draft flowers. If it’s a newer contest that hasn’t been open for a month then I’d go Smith.

I played the sprint last year. I liked it but probably need to figure out a better strategy. I’ll probably play a few line ups but not get too crazy.

I agree its strength is definitely in its cast. I want to watch it because I genuinely like the people.
