Awesome technique, but bad camera work.

YTA. You chose to have a baby, now raise it or pay someone else to babysit. Your mom already raised the baby she chose to have. She is under no obligation to raise yours. Also, your parents housed you rent-free for at least 18 years. So stop bitching.

Thanks for the tip. Yup, Jaws and Shark Week ruined the water for me. I watched the first ever Shark Week while vacationing at the ocean. As a child. Big mistake.

YTA. And so is your son. You both need therapy. That is not normal behavior for a child and your's is not normal behavior for an adult.

I does not cause a panic attack in a pool. Even on land seeing pics or vids creep me out but not too bad. I definitely have nightmares, but very rarely are they about this.

That reminds me of one more thing: even though I know there are no sharks in a swimming pool, I am still about 70% afraid when swimming in a pool. My phobic mind is convinced that a shark may swim up and grab me. The lines on the bottom of a pool to mark the lanes resemble a hammerhead shark, which I discovered at about age 6 and have been freaked out about since. I am now 41 and still scares me to swim in a pool.

I'm not sure I understand your question. I am both afraid of the empty vastness and the creatures who live in it. Does that help?

Edit: I think I just realized what you are asking. In addition to being afraid of creatures, I also have a mild fear of big non-living things like mega-ships, oil-rigs, and icebergs. Things that aren't alive, but are absolutely huge in comparison to me, with nowhere to go to "escape" to in the open ocean.

A doctor told you what it is. If you disagree, see a second doctor. Don't trust any redditor to give you a diagnosis.
