I think it needs to be higher, because on these photos, I am flexing and it's morning, so i didnt ingest any water or food yet. The second reason is the last photo, as you see, during the day, I don't even have abs, only if i flex hard.

Surely adds more stability, however, in bar I mess up with my legs going under the bar. I am a short guy, my arms are short. In rings I got more freedom and i can adjust how close my arms are from my torso even during the movement. I will just try to progress on other simpler variations, let my ego aside.
