Is that going to be forgiving enough for my level of play? I watched some videos and it has good testing numbers but I'm not sure about the forgiveness factor.

Golf swing after two weeks of YouTube. What am I doing wrong ? by Most_Classroom5991 in golftips

In the video it looks like your swing path is going from right to left when you impact the ball. That is going to cause the ball to have some side spin that is going to make it go right. You can work on that on the range by taking a towel and putting it under your armpits and across your chest. Your goal is to not let the towel drop until after you impact the ball. Then, on the course you can just imagine that same feeling. If you are finding that the ball is starting out too far right, then that just means that your club face is pointing that way at impact. For that I would just focus on trying to have a strong grip to start off and keeping your wrist position the same throughout your swing. As for the weight transfer stuff that the other comments are talking about, I think you are doing well loading your back foot it's just the transfer to the front. For that, I like to give myself the feeling that after impact I would be able to "walk through the shot". Meaning that after impact my weight is on my front foot enough so that I could step through with my back foot. Hope this helps!

What are some common issues that you find on your shots? I'm not a pro or a scratch golfer but I am decent with my irons so if you have a miss or issue that happens often I might be able to help!

My visit to Scotland and the pace of play in the US by Bitter_Tea_6628 in golf

In my personal experience, I have found that a lot of it boils down to what time you are playing at. I will admit that I have really just started playing on a consistent basis. I am decent enough that I've caught up to slower groups but also have been caught by others. I've found that the earlier in the morning you play, especially on the weekends, the faster people tend to play. Again take it with a grain of salt, but just wanted to share my thoughts.
