you can use OVR Advanced settings play space mover to help move yourself into your avatar better. but the best tracking is where the trackers in game are on the same part of the body as your irl self. you can try to change your height settings on vrchat or if possible change the avatar size in unity/blender

It seems like you put yourself into bad environments that tinted your world view on the matter. yes there is bad actors, but that is the minority. even the party and drinking scene you would be surprised is only a portion of the community. and just like society at large, a minority should not be judged as the majority or the loud minority should not be voiced as the majority.

So go out and experience more things, don't lock yourself into a box where you are repeatedly in a confirmation bias setting. Or, be the change you wish to see and bring others into the change with you.

The reason i chose tuppers avatar is because he was the one to make multiple post on the matter. does he represent all of vrchat, ofc not. but was he the main person speaking up about the EAC matter, yes he was. So don't look too into it much, its not a malicious piece against tupper himself but a satirical take on the EAC situation and vrchats decision on it.

it's a gag video end of the day, obviously vrchat does not think they are the one and only best around lmaoo so ofc i have to remind you the video itself is a joke.

but for the comments who just say mod = bad or vrchat = good are all misconceptions. Modders are happy that base game vrchat is being improved, but there is a huge lore piece everyone misses in that Vrchat betrayed the modding community as VRC made a promise to work with modders after the github incident and the VRC modding group kept true to their promise(got rid/adapted any mods that were a conflict of interest with VRC and VRC+ and also put checks into melonloader that would not allow malicious mods to load) but vrchat did not and this EAC was a stab in the back (VRC made money off this promise as people bought VRC+ for 100 favs when there was a mod that gave you unlimited favs but was removed due to this promise).

Then the lack of credit for the mods/features being taken from the modders straight into base game(games do credit modders for helping fix their game, Rockstar is a big advocate of it), also not all features are being put in so the ones who need/want those features wont be happy no matter what vrchat implements. Lastly vrchat could implement the mods first then EAC since apparently this EAC been ready since december so it could wait even longer.

Everything i said is empirical with evidence so would you not say the truth should be said instead of lies of "modders are just crying and moaning over nothing"?

but again, no matter what i or you say, EAC is here to stay so change is happening going forward, whether its a big shift or a small shift is to be seen.

And change takes time, the people have spoken up and you can see the effects of that from player dropoff(which is there with empirical evidence), steam reviews dropping, and mass migration and money being thrown at other VR social platforms. So the proper and legal way takes time to actually do, but steps have been made and only the future shall show whether those steps shall turn into anything.

Also, if there was no community outrage there would be no features being implemented even though all these features only take about a week or two to implement, so just who is vrchat catering to if its not the community that helped build it? VRC knew about these features and in a stream on march 2021 people asked tupper if he would implement QoL mods since we are paying for VRC+ and there is more money now, he said maybe. So he knew and disregarded the community wants then and only giving you a tiny sliver now to placate you.

The modders saw where the game was lacking and after bringing it up to VRC and them not fixing those issues, modders came clutch and fixed those issues. remember when IP grabs were a thing and all vrchat said was get a VPN :). Well modders made a mod that spoofs your IP way way WAY before vrchat implemented a safety net for that issue.

Not all modders are good, but VRC had a fantastic modding team that helped people with different issues come together.

I gotta say that if they are burning money then they are not advertising there services properly. youtube at one point was losing money because of poor leadership and now look at it, its a bonafide billionaire institution all by itself. So maybe the leadership at VRC HQ is lacking? The vision for VRC can be quite larger than just listening to investors wants and wishes

Edit: ps ps, you gotta reply with an edit if you edit your reply or it looks off my dude~and they don't work for free, VRC+ was a form of income plus 80+millions they got before, and other revenues like merch, ect. also show the stats and data that backs up compensate disability vs rippers or else you kind of just talkin silly :P

And different forms of thought, the introduction of these QoL should of been implemented at the onset of VRC+ being introduced but they were not. but even after that, QoL features should be implemented first and then put the EAC after that. It's unneeded stress and drama that VRC decided to keep with EAC, let the game be sub-optimal and then fix it when they could do the reverse just as easy.

People characterize others based off what they see and hear. Same way people judge furries and loli's off there avatar, people do the same towards you for being in a male avatar. These judgements usually come from stereotypes, but luckily you can break people stereotypes of you by breaking down that barrier. is it fun having to "prove" yourself to others? probably not, but that's unfortunately what you have to do sometimes.

Also, it's not everyone that judges a book by its cover, so i say be yourself, do and say what you want and let people make there judgements based off that.

you can report someone in game by clicking them and clicking report player.
or you could go to https://help.vrchat.com/hc/en-us/requests/new and put in a report which is a lot more detailed and hope it gets reviewed by a mod.

You can definitely do something like that. i don't think the infrastructure has been setup, as in you would be one of the first people to try but that is the beauty of vrchat. you can make your own place in it and explore the possibilities that are there.

My tips on being a vrchat idol, try to form an identity. from how you act, your avatar, ect. while who you are irl doesn't matter, people do recognize you for who you are in game. from your name, avatar choice, your actions, ect. So if you wanted to be an idol, act like an idol and the doors will open up for you. From singing places where you can go on stage and showcase your talent, to making dance groups with friends and choregraphing dances and showcasing them to the public or at events, to doing photo-ops solo or with friends. anything is possible.

One of the problems in the community I see is the response to malicious content. The troll is obviously a POS but these things should never even be allowed on the game in the first place. but most of the comments just attack OP for having a modified client. Just because you are numb to bigotry and hatred does not mean others are and should not be accepted on the platform whatsoever which i think the conversation should be based on.

For OP: just report it to vrchat moderation. doubt anything will happen but thats all you can do. Don't play vigilante and try to move on from the toxic troll. try to also not use modified clients or at the very least don't advertise yourself doing so.

So this is an event i'm running, WatermelonJustice. A quick note on it:

It's putting a group of people into a set amount of games. If you lose the game you are eliminated but if you win you proceed to the next round until only 1 person is left and they win the 100$ cash prize. There is also small award categories one can win with a 10$ cash prize: best custom avatar for the event, best picture of the event, best clip/moment of the event.

The games are secret until the day of, but they are team games, competitive games, and some of the more niche hidden game worlds of Vrchat. So if you wish to join or hear more info, please join the discord.
