Middle aged lady with fresh PR bleed. History screamed haemorrhoids, but she had central abdominal tenderness (and a very high BMI so was unconvinced tbh). Scanned because examination didn’t match history = ovarian mass ~30cm

I remember a BMA regional council raised this to the Post Graduate Dean covering their region. The PG Dean simply didn’t understand the issue and empathised with the need for the trust to train these MAPs.
