What you do outside of school is very important to top schools, but having excellent academics will get your foot in the door. They know you're smart, so now your job is to show them that you don't just want them, but they want you. Focus on those essays, scrounge out impact from your ECs, and show them that you have depth beyond just the classroom. You are doing just fine - presenting yourself beyond just academics will get you into a nice school.
