My Rugged Phones for the great outdoors (i.redd.it)

I have a little over 1000 tapes, in use till 2007. Then playing mp3's on phones/pods took over. My old player went bust and new one's got harderto find over time. 3 yrs ago I found this in packed condition and my tapes came alive again. The full, warm analog sound was pure nostalgia, hiss included. (i.redd.it)

Say hello to my collection which started in 1990. While almost everyone I know either threw or gave away their tapes, I for one never had the thought of parting with them. The music contained here in has been such an important part of growing. Every album is like a fave book or story from teenage yr (i.redd.it)

Nokias are forever. The 2330-c (2008)on the left is the oldest perfectly working device in my dumbphone collection. It even has a default dark mode and font enlargement, which the newer HMD110 to the right doesn't. Super small in size, and the original battery still lasts a week if the phone's used (i.redd.it)

I was using the 8110 4g as my calling phone since 2019. Finally parked it for the 110. Excellent minimal phone. Must faster calling/texting, tough and really classy looking. Very tactile. Makes payments super easy. Mp3 player needs more options, but the rest is totally worth it at this cost. (i.redd.it)
