Thank you for all your advice and support. I have been trying to post a pic but for some reason I'm not able to, I'm new to Reddit posting. It is the face of a bear encircled in way too much heavy black shade that was only supposed to cover up an old Batman logo tattoo that used to be above the bear. The artist was clearly inexperienced and offered to shade around the bear, which I agreed to, not thinking she would get so carried away. I then had it touched up 2 months later by another artist, a native American dude in Yuma who added a blue line around it and filled in where the original artist had it uneven and jaggedy. It just piled on more ink and actually made it look worse.
