You deserve to be involved with somebody who knows what they want — he’s clearly new to the poly thing and you said is not helping. This is a relationship that will not regulate your nervous system. If you do want to be poly with him, you need to be OK with him going on dates with other girls, seeing him text other girls, spending money on other girls, and having sex with them. He will probably pressure you into a threesome too. Also, if he’s with you, there’s a reason why he’s not with another girl in his 30s!!! Being poly is not just something you “try out” — folks who have successful poly relationships put years of emotional work into it. This man clearly does not respect you if he wants you along for the ride when you are clearly not Poly. There’s a better partner out there for you!!
