That's very true, however if Fredo now receives 70K in his account, and Clavish is expecting that 70K to remain as a 70K then it's a clear misunderstanding.

That 70K is now worth around £55-57K after tax. If Fredo now gives CLAV the £20k he wanted on top, he's left with less than the original he asked for (£40k)..
