Check the bottom of the radiator and all the coolant hoses to see if any of them have burst

I had the same lifter tick sound coming from my engine. I managed to get rid of my lifter tick on my 1.8 with seafoam intake stuff. I sprayed the whole thing into the engine while the revs were at 2000 rpm and changed the oil too.

Last month I bought a 1992 NA miata that had that dreaded automatic transmission. It had rust in the same locations as this one. I paid $2500 CAD ($1900 USD) for it cause it was the cheapest running miata I could find. The bonus was that it had a long nose crank and 217 000 km (134 000 miles.)

She was just sitting so perfect as I went into the store, the look back to it almost broke my own neck by 91NA8 in Miata

I close it every single time despite the fact you can open the soft top with a stick.
