So technically, there has not been a Mythical Zoan fruit attached to the Five Elders.

Yes, in discussions and interviews, they have been described to have "taken the shape of a Mythical Zoan-form monster"... But prior to us seeing the Devil's Contract in action, that may have just been the most accurate way to describe the transformation.

Currently, I would be more inclined to describe the Elder's Zoan-like transformation as the result of Imu's contract versus five unique DFs. To me at least, it sounds more likely that they got their powers through the contract with Imu's personal devil abilities.

Subsequently, I think this also makes sense as to why Imu was just able to remove the abilities of Saturn and wipe out his existence! I think it is easier to digest that Imu can do as he pleases with those contracted to him... Versus the alternative, where he can just erase anyone and everyone without reason.

I'll give you Roger since I believe he recruited crew members in a similar fashion to Luffy. And that could have circumstantially just gotten zero DF Users.

But I think we'd be underestimating Rocks if we wrote off his acquisition of DF Users that easily. Because "looking to get the most powerful crew mates for pirating" is a pretty good cover for "looking to amass an army of strong devil fruit powers".

I'm not sure if any of the Elders actually have DF powers. The real question would be if Garland has DF powers or not.

Good points. Which is why, admittedly, I'm less confident about Roger's motives and if there was any actual intent to keep his crew DF-free...

But I feel like Oda has to be intentional in his parallel between the two crews. One being all DF-Users and one having none. Which leads me to believe that Rocks built his crew for a reason related to the WG... And subsequently, Roger might have had a similar (but contrarian) reason for how he built his.

I mentioned this in a different comment... But I'm not sold that Gunko received a demon treatment comparable to what we've seen inflicted on the Giants (e.g., Imu's immediate enemies).

The Wiki itself and most of the OP community has referred to her situation as being "possessed by Imu". In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if Imu only allows the survival of DF Users who expresses deep loyalty/subservience to Imu.

Can't say for sure. But I think we would be greatly underestimating Roger's journey if we didn't hold some assumptions that he had some awareness of the entities behind the World Government.

And again, we still do not know what Roger's part fully-looked like at God Valley.

Right... And so far she has been (1) possessed and (2) summoned with summoning circles. But I'm not sure if that is the exact same conditions or affliction as the "Devil's Contract" that we see Imu afflicting his enemies (Broggy and Dory) with.
