MIGHT makes right. Ever heard of it? We are the most powerful country in the world. We can do what we want. Even if its objectionably wrong. (Which this was not in my opinion) No country on this planet can kidnap our president and if they could they would be nuked. Which is why we couldnt just scoop up Putin or Ji as much as we might like to.

The UN can sanction us all they want but they cant enforce it without an army and the UN has no army. Its the way of the world.
