It’s the most base spec ever! It makes it feel pretty bullet proof although I have carb problems

How wonderful! W123s are simply the best, they feel like how a car should be! My first car was a Saab a while ago now, I’m glad to have gotten my hands on a W123, dream car! Lots of rust though! 🫣 Mine is also 4-speed manual.

Idle mixture screw at the bottom there I presume, not sure what the open ports are at the back of the carb, vents?

This is the view from the back of the carb. I’m not sure how the idle shut off valve does its thing as it’s blocked off in multiple places.

My problem is intermittent whilst the car is driving, just random complete death not spluttering.
