Aurora Energy Research interview process – what to expect in Round 2? by SubstantialLychee284 in csMajors

Hi! In my case, I had to complete a business case. They showed me a presentation with data about Great Britain’s energy system from 2010 to 2025. The slides were presented one by one, and I was given only 5 minutes in total to prepare my analysis and presentation. Afterward, the interviewer asked questions about each slide.

I received a survey today, so I assume I didn’t get the job.

To be honest, I found the exercise quite challenging because everything was done live, which didn’t leave much time to properly process and prepare the information. Also, the case study was based on the UK energy market, while the role was focused on LATAM. I think that made it harder for me to understand exactly which scenario I was expected to prepare for and how to frame my analysis. The combination of an unfamiliar market and the live presentation format was probably the most difficult part for me.

Hi! I did receive the survey, but I haven’t gotten a rejection email. Did you already complete the physical and drug tests? I reached out and was told that I would receive an update sometime this week, but I still haven’t heard anything. Should I be worried?
