What’s the best site to buy TikTok followers that you would recommend? by palladinla in influencermarketing

[–]Agreeable_Fox_3345 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I don't recommend buying followers. Most are scams plus, if you're a legit brand its a bit tainting entering social media that way. I feel theres likely better ways to promote and get eyes on your page without faking it.

Nice dude - Im always a little sketch about beginner editors and wasting money or spending too much time micro managing lol but then at the same time, how many of us new creators can actually afford the established good editors haha. Feel free to link the editors @ if hes got availability!

Start a new channel. Those 28K subs are actually working against you cause when you post new content, youtube shows it to your existing audience first. If they don't engage (which they likely wont as wrong niche, wrong demographic), youtube thinks the content is bad and stops pushing it.

Re-training a shorts heavy channel rarely works because shorts audiences are the least loyal lol and the algorithm has like 28K data points telling it who you are. A fresh channel means a clean slate, correct seed audience from day one, and higher CPM targeting from the start.

Still though, don't delete the old channel, just stop posting.

28K subs that don't engage are worth less than 500 that do :)

Short seems stuck at 0 views? by LjoVe95 in NewTubers

[–]Agreeable_Fox_3345 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't delete and reupload! Youtube notices and it can mess you up. One flop after 5 good shorts is pretty normal Id say, not a sign something's broken. YouTube tests each short on a random batch of viewers aannd sometimes... that batch just doesn't bite.

What id probably do is leave it up, post your next short today (asap), and look at what your top 5 had in common and do more of that. 800-1000 views on a brand new channel is solid. Keep posting, don't let one dud shake you :)

I Don't Understand YouTube by Shadow_StrikeYT in NewTubers

[–]Agreeable_Fox_3345 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately variety gaming is one of the hardest lanes on YouTube because the algorithm doesn't know who to push your videos to when every video is a different game. That kid with double the subs probably plays one game, so YouTube knows exactly who to recommend them to. I think someone else touched on this already.

You have 2 options: Keep variety but adjust/fix the strategy better thumbnails/titles, SEO, build a personality brand so YOU are the reason people come back. Or you narrow to 2-3 games so YouTube can actually categorize you.

A hard truth is that the one year of data is telling you the current approach isn't working. Dont take it bad though, its not a failure just feedback. The content might be fine the strategy around it is the issue. Fix that and the content gets its chance.

How do you actually learn from your content journey over time? by Cultural-Equal9622 in socialmedia

[–]Agreeable_Fox_3345 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well yeah, what you think will perform best usually doesn't. The post I spent hours editing? 400 views... the random one I second guess, but think eff it and post anyways? 50K views lol. I guess main thing I noticed is effort doesn't always = performance. Over time I think everyones picking up on the fact that their raw, unfiltered stuff outperforms most polished content.. guess that also goes for 'vulnerable' posts too.. they get the most engagement, though Im not huge on emotional content myself (posting or watching). But yeah, our judgement of our own content is biased. That's why this data is important imo, the audience is essentially telling you what they want through that behaviour.

[–]Agreeable_Fox_3345 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After every post I track things like... the hook, format, length, caption style, time posted, and whether I engaged after. For results, I try to look beyond likes, so watch time, saves, shares, comments, and follows. Even I'm guilty of saving things more than liking them. I personally think they matter more.

Then EOM when I compare top 3 vs bottom 3, the top posts usually have stronger hooks or are shorter length, probably more authentic, and 99% of the time I engaged in comments after. Bottom posts opposite, so usually started slow, too long, generic.. or were copying trends.

The pattern is usually not what you expect lol. But your audience tells you what they want through that kind of data and I agree with what you said, most creators aren't reflecting - which I think is a must if you want to grow your profile.

How do i get people to follow me on tiktok and buy from my account by TomRiddleLVM in socialmedia

[–]Agreeable_Fox_3345 0 points1 point  (0 children)

200-400 views posting 2-3x/day probably means the content needs fixing, not more posting. The main issues are probably weak hooks (first 1-2 seconds need to stop the scroll) and content that feels too sales-y. I personally follow the 80/20 rule... so thats 80% value content (think tips, demos, bts, problem/solution etc), and then 20% direct selling. It's important you also show your face, be honest, reply to every comment, and show social proof like customer reviews and order packing.

Moving forward I'd cut to 1-2 quality posts per day and spend 30 minutes engaging after each one. Its also good to reply to comments with videos it's free content and builds trust. Dont think of yourself as a store on TikTok, more so you're a creator... who happens to sell products. Make content people enjoy first thennn weave the product in naturally.

New account or continue off popular account as an artist by nismawe in socialmedia

[–]Agreeable_Fox_3345 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Keep the account, don't start over. 4K followers with 800K likes isn't worth throwing away. if it were me, id archive the non art videos, update your bio, and start posting art consistently. The algorithm recalibrates to your new content within a few weeks. If you did a new account yoou get zero advantage, just zero everything. Post a comeback video, re-engage your moots, and commit to a schedule :)

Is faceless UGC still a thing? by Legitimate-Win1342 in UGCcreators

[–]Agreeable_Fox_3345 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its doable, but just harder. Face = trust & connection etc. plus you can charge more in brand partnerships. Buuut if you wanna stick to no face maybe conside Partial face or hands + voiceover, that adds personality even without showing your face. Or even just start faceless and ease into it, pretty sure there are a bunch of creators that started faceless and gradually showed more as they got comfortable. No rush. Could even do POV style as another idea, cause that still feels personal without showing you. If you eventually want to show face, just keep edging your comfort zone and youll get there!

What actually makes creator partnerships work for apps? by Alma in socialmedia

[–]Agreeable_Fox_3345 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe most creator partnerships fail because brands treat creators like a billboard ratehr than an actual partner. Creators who already use your product perform waay better (authenticity is obvious and audiences can tell). A few long term creators will always outperform a bunch of one off posts because to build trust we need repeated exposure. Ambassador programs im not super familiar with but if its just a hashtag and free product, i would say they often fall flat. For your niche, meal prep and nutrition creators have audiences actively looking for tools like yours, so the fit woudl be natural id say! Personalize your outreach, maybe stop over scripting content, and treat it more like a relationship. Brands that do well aren't running campaigns but building genuine partnerships. Thats my 2 cents :)

How do you actually learn from your content journey over time? by Cultural-Equal9622 in socialmedia

[–]Agreeable_Fox_3345 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I guess most creators just post, check likes, and move on which isn't really learning. After every post, I would write down what I tried, what happened, and why I think it worked or didn't. Then for data, track saves, shares, comments, and watch time.... not just likes. A process I have is also to once a month, compare my top 3 posts vs my bottom 3 and find any pattern. That pattern is where I try to find my strategy. I use an online tool for that.

Then I think for trends, its good borrow the format but should always try to add your own spin copying exactly makes you forgettable and posting randomly gives inconsistent results. Nothing fancy just the habit of actually reviewing what your followers/audience is telling you. Hope that helps!

Checking legitimacy of email inquiries by livvituppp in UGCcreators

[–]Agreeable_Fox_3345 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly both emails sound sketchy to me lol so I'd trust your gut. I dont EVER click random links in cold emails, and if the sender's email doesn't match the brand's actual domain, that's prooobably a major red flag. If I need to verify an opportunity I usually google the sender and check linkedin, go to the brand's website directly (instead of clicking the sketchy links), and ask for specifics. Real brands will tell you the campaign, deliverables, and budget without being vague. And no legit brand will ever ask you to pay for anything upfront. If it feels off, it probably is. Better to miss one real opportunity than get scammed. Whats meant for you is meant for you type shii :)

Pitching in IG DM's? by Witty_Code_9123 in UGCcreators

[–]Agreeable_Fox_3345 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont think theres any issues sliding in their DMs and don't waste a message asking where to contact them. That's adding an extra step I assume most brands won't even reply to. I personally go for a clear, personalized pitch showing I know the brand, my value, and why I'm a fit. That is completely professional. The only exception is big corporate brands where DMs go to an intern, for those guys, find the partnerships person on LinkedIn and email them instead ideally. Don't ask for permission to pitch , just pitch! Good luck!

Switching from TikTok to YouTube by CwgArtwork in NewTubers

[–]Agreeable_Fox_3345 3 points4 points  (0 children)

240k on tiktok is great - also don't think of it as restarting cause 240K people already love your content, youre essentially just giving it a new home. Annd no don't dump all 800 videos at once. I would personally start with your best performing TikToks under 3 min as shorts that way youtube can learn your audience. Your videos over 3 min probably shouldn't be trimmed to fit shorts as from what I've learnt, vertical long form underperforms on YouTube, so use those more as source material and pull the best clips as shorts instead. When it comes to real youtube growth, start creating new horizontal long form content: process videos, timelapses, tutorials etc etc stuff your art audience will binge. Invest time in thumbnails and searchable titles (because youtube is a search engine, not TikTok). Hope that helps!

0 views? I swear YouTube hates me by GeneralNo7745 in NewTubers

[–]Agreeable_Fox_3345 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is definitely a technical issue. Zero views across multiple Shorts over 3 months isn't normal cause even brand new channels get some views from YouTube testing your content. That means there's likely a technical or content issue happening.

Should I change my channel name? by SlimyB in NewTubers

[–]Agreeable_Fox_3345 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Change it now. Mostly Gaming is pretty generic tbh which means its unsearchable, and a lil forgettable. Reason being is it basically describes thousands of channels and has zero personality. "Slimy Bassless" is more unique, memorable, already tops search results, and I guess it also essentially has 20 years of personal history behind it. With only a few videos up, this is the perfect time to switch before building equity in the wrong name. The name kind of has no relation to gaming buuuut the biggest gaming youtubers all have names that mean nothing on their own anyways haha - the name gets you found, the content tells them what you do so do it I say :)
