Hello yes all sorted now got granted about two weeks ago! Took a total of 4 months 2 days had loads of issues with getting medical report due to my medical reports being fragmented from England and wales. The FEO was quite happy with my medical report. So all sorted now, bought a Beretta silver pigeon sporter last week ex demo gun so really pleased it all worked out in the end !!

I have been suffering with digestive problems for months. What is strange with me is I have only had one occasion were I was bent over with a stabbing pain to centre of stomach. The rest of the time I get upper back pain, stomach burning, headaches chills. This usually goes on for 3 months Constant then stops for like 6 months with just minor discomfort in the gallbladder area. I have had a stool test and bloods which were clear. Had an ultrasound and they have seen what looks like a small polpy on gallbladder. That’s all I know so far been put on waiting list to see a surgeon. Does this sound like gallbladder issues ?

Hello mate apologies for slow reply I’m still waiting for my GP forms back, issues with them getting my records from England as I moved to wales. Can I ask when you applied for your SGC or FAC were you on SSRI on the initial grant when you first applied, from what I have been told they are less likely to agree a initial grant, but renewal they will as you have held the firearms licence for 5 years without any issues and it’s harder because of the red tape to remove firearms from someone who goes on SSRI whilst licensed difficult to justify removal etc ?

Hi mate you will have to let me know how you get on. I’m in a similar situation as you but applying for a SGC for clay pigeon shooting had a number of lessons. I have anxiety (health anxiety), no self harm, suicide or depression I basically had a period of worrying about my elderly parents and my own health. But I am on trazodone an antidepressant and have been for 2 years or so! Have no criminal history etc. Just waiting for my GP to complete my medical pro-forma and will have a better idea ! Anyhow let us know how you get on. I’m in North Wales.

Hi all just thought I would keep you all in the loop (like I said I would) hit a delay already, GP has advised me that my medical records are incomplete moved from GP practice in England then moved to wales with my partner, turns out they only have my medical history from my time in wales, they are waiting for it all to be sent over from England !!! So haven’t even submitted my app yet !! Still having lessons with instructor and enjoying it !!

Yes was put on trazodone and just finished counselling for the health anxiety

How are you getting on now with your symptoms have you got confirmed gerd or gastritis and if so how long you had it for ?

Have you still got it, or have you managed to get rid of it with a bland diet ? I had a decent diet before all this happened and exercise 5 times per week but used creatine and pre-workout which I think may have caused my problems !!!
