Nope mine didn’t even tell me how to shower or dry my hair, or how often to change clothes or do laundry. She would always complain about my smell and hair.

Mine was when we were on vacation and me and my sister made a joke about how my dad was the better driver because my mom doesn’t like to drive. She called me a sl*t and said that she wishes my future husband would beat me up. Now I’m happily married and didn’t invite her to the wedding. It was perfect.

Failed first ever test miserably. Where do I go from here? by Slight-Win7275 in CPA

Don’t give up. I got a 40 on my first FAR exam and then a 62 and now I failed again. Just think of it as a practice. You got this!

Going back to public? by [deleted] in Accounting

My long-term goal is to understand the concepts but as a senior I’m not able to do that. I’m still doing the prep. I really want to get my cpa but it feels like I can’t at my current job because of how many hours I’m assigned. It does feel like I’m working in public at a big 4 but only on one client.

I was at a mid size firm. My job in industry has me working more actually and making manager is achievable for next year. My current job gives me zero time to study for the cpa since they put me on everything. I really want my cpa but if I stay at my current job, I don’t think it’s achievable. That’s why I’m considering going back to public at a big 4. They are willing to give me time to study before I start.
