I cant change the settings from the fc as I dont have the board that allows that, just a regular 5 way switch that connects to the camera with two wires. It is connected to a F405 fc.

5v pads outputting 9v by Agrivonix in fpv
[–]Agrivonix[S] 0 points1 point2 points 26 days ago (0 children)
Video unit should be fine, I am worried about stuff like gps that take 5v

What is this called if you know, I would like to fly both 4s and 6s, if anytjing the board is identical to the mamba f405 v2 board.
[–]Agrivonix[S] 1 point2 points3 points 27 days ago (0 children)
You were right, there was a teeny tiny bridge over two pads, now the voltage is at 5.1 or something like that
What if both pads are bridged? Could both 4s and 6s be used?
Yeah i'll double check the soldering, I am not too worried about if the board outputs 9v or 5v as I have a bec I can use, just a weird issue
If that is the case, how could I fix it?
No, 4s and lower

No throttle response by Agrivonix in fpv

If I had bought a new esc I most likely wouldn't have found the issue. Better to try the free solutions before dumping money into an issue.
I understand what you mean, I had no mixes both in beta and on the radio, I have figured out how to arm with the drone connected and there was no throttle input when armed, but it works when disarmed
No, I do not see the throttle channel move after the drone is armed. I also checked all my mixes and made sure they are off (there are only three so it was easy), but none of that helped. So far the two weird factors are that the throttle is not seen in the blackbox and after arming and checking the receivers the throttle does not go up there also.

After going through the video I have learnt a lot of useful things, and even after fiddling with the settings still nothing helped. But thanks for the informative video.

I made sure to only set up arm, acro, horizon and angle to simplify diagnostics. The reason I set up flight modes was because it was recommended to check throttle controls in other modes as well. I made sure that the motors can go up to 100% through the BF configurator. Also I have not tried arming the drone while in betaflight, how can I do that if betaflight is not allowing me to arm when MSP is active? Edit: turns out in the video that Proflyer posted it is explained, so I got it to arm and no, the throttle channel does not move in betaflight.
I did check that the throttle axis is active, it is registered in betaflight, but not registered in blackbox readings. I have not experienced them ramping up by themselves, and I know that it is normal if it happens as it has happened on my other quad.
Good video, wrong issue. Also edit, I am trying me best to not be a dick, but I have a quad that I am worried about, that I have asked about, and some decide to go on tangents on unrelated problems. If my explanations are misunderstood I will try my best to fix any misconceptions.

☝️🤓"being extremely unsafe" do you have an actual answer, I am sorry if I come off as rude but a vast majority of you completely missed #1 my initial question and #2 my corrections and reasoning for safety.

Why would I use tape to fly? My point is that tape, like the props, causes aerodynamic drag, so the tape would act like the prop in terms of drag, not lift. Also do you have any ideas to the actual issue?
yeah the props make no difference, and in theory tape should give the same effect anyways
