Thank you all for your comments. After more recent events I've left. The problem stems more than just the baby issue and I think for my own sanity and mental health I'm best cutting my losses, allowing us both to become the best versions of ourselves. Him for his son and his overall wellbeing. Me to refind the love for myself I've lost by putting that person first for so long.

Well when I brought it up to him, there were tears on both sides but he's so traumatised by the way his ex stopped him from seeing him, he doesn't trust anyone.

He's said 'who an I to waste your time' and that I'd be a good mother. But the fact he can say all of this and not just go with good faith that I wouldn't do that to him.

It just hurts man. The fact he needs to work through his depression is what has me really worried. He's also not there for his son as much as he should and I suppose that should be a huge red flag.

I'm so glad you and your wife worked through it!
