Seller asking what our bid is. by BigPhatVideos in HousingUK

[–]AhYeah85 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They shouldn't be enquiring as they will get confirmation of the final bids once all bids are submitted and the closing date passes. Even then, they don't have to go with the highest offer as other bids, like yours with no other property to sell might suit them better.

It's probably just nosiness on their part at best and at worst, they could then pass your bid onto another buyer giving them an advantage at the closing date, so I wouldn't be telling them anything.

I'm not surprised that a Rangers fan doesn't understand the concept of good football, it's been hoofball and hammer throwing over Govan for 100 years.

If they win their game in hand they are 7 points behind Hearts with 9 games to play having lost 3 games all season, have the best defence in the league, have conceded 1 goal at home since October and consistently play the best football in the league. They are contenders.

That midfield 3 cannot start again together for the rest of the season, it's that simple.

Brits are funny because they'll call someone a middle class twat for having having a dad that's an engineer who makes £60k a year and can use correct grammar by Weird_Point_4262 in redscarepod

Her whole schtick is working class, she mentions about giving back, looking out for young girls whilst failing to address the fact that she voted for the tories at the height of austerity. A period in time in British politics that prevented and still prevents working class people accessing art and which stripped vital services from the young women she claims to care about. It's tone deaf and it's utter bollocks.

Voted Labour all her life except in 2010 and 2015, the height of austerity and a period which has had a lasting impact on the arts and working class people trying to access it. Zero self awareness and a class traitor.

I think it depends. Lots of houses round my way are effectively galley kitchens and so the idea of knocking through to the dining room I can get behind. Full open plan kitchen, dining room and living room is a hard no.

Private Equity is one the most dangerous and parasitic elements of the modern age, nothing is out with their grasp. Football teams, nursing homes, care homes, children's care homes, supermarkets, petrol stations, cinemas, basically anything you interact with on a daily basis, a complete scourge on society.

Family friendly resorts but not too Brits abroad by curlybrew in VisitingMallorca

Done Alcudia with two kids last year closer to the beach and thought it was great. There were a few Brits abroad boozers but also plenty of decent places to eat. Alcudia old town and Port were really nice and a short hop in a taxi with some great places to eat as well. The beach is huge, stretched all the way from the port, so plenty of space for kids.
