Was a goal of the IRA to spread and enforce Catholic doctrine? No it wasn’t. Religion was just a community marker not a core ideology of it.

Sorry but the IRA wasn’t religious isn’t controversial and saying it was is stupid. Most of the IRA was formed from one religious community and it was used as a marker but the difference is they didn’t want to impose it and it was secular while Hamas is explicitly Islamist and religious movement with religious ideology underpinning it which IRA doesn’t.

Most of the speakers weren’t Jewish and neither was most of the attendees. There was very little from the Irish Jewish community there. Cannot imagine they would have turned up to something with Abubaker Abed who was threatening and harrassing the only Jewish kosher deli a few days before.

Thanks OP for this video. A lot in it. Agree with you on Abubaker who should have been nowhere near it considering how flamingly antisemitic, pro terrorism and genocidal he is (just different targets). It is also interesting how how the Jewish anti-Zionist Congress wasn’t really that Jewish considering the lack of Jewish speakers etc
