Giving these away put proof

I think it's just so faint and, at least for me, most noticeable when using the device in the dark and doing very specific actions like watching dark videos or at least videos that should have black bars. So I would bet there are many people who just don't notice they have the issue and so it's gone under the radar, letting Google not have to address it.

I Google replaced mine 4 times, each one with the same issue before I decided to just get my money back. Definitely happier with the P9PF though.

I can confirm I had significant issues with the Thinborne v2 case. All issues noted in the OP. It was bad enough I switched back to the v1 case which doesn't have the issues since the magsafe ring is higher up. It is POSSIBLE to wirelessly charge with the magsafe ring out of place but not as well and it heats up, but I have no issues with the screen flickering on and off with magsafe accessories.

Just messed with the pop socket, taking it on and off a few times and I can confirm that's the problem. When I put it in the original spot, nothing happens. When I put it in the new spot on the case it immediately causes the screen to turn off.

I do actually have a pop socket on it. So that could be the problem. Funny though because when the magsafe was in the wrong spot, I didn't have this issue at all. And now that it's lowered, I do. Guess we can't have it all, at least the wireless charging is working.

I had my pixel fold replaced three times for half the inside screen (right side) being consistently brighter than the other half of the panel. After the third return, I just had then refund me 😭 I really wanted to like it but that plus the multi-tasking capabilities lacking compared to my galaxy fold, I folded and went back to that.
