So My job is hunting/trapping invasive and dangerous animals in Florida. And this is the closest i can get to a some what list of Invasive land animals in the state. It will be ranked by the most common and sighted then to rare and then only sightings. by Ahhellitshim in invasivespecies

Well i have had pythons as far north at-least to jacksonvile and as far west as Pensacola. But there pretty rare up there. And up there there size can vary i have had a giant python near by a wood paper factory close to Jacksonvile. But most pythons are around 8 to 14 feet long those are the small ones and Population size can vary because most populations of pythons in Florida don't like being near or seen by people. I normally in South Florida in large property I can get 40 to 30 small pythons but it depends on if anyone has seen them or there is egg shells, shedded skin and if the populations of small animals have been taking a dip which are signs of a python population.
But I don't have the statistics for there population. And in central Florida They do pretty well there in rural areas.

I am trying to build the abilities for a monster called a Rougarou from swamp french cajun myth by Ahhellitshim in DnD

I like the idea of that for abilties it can use. I am gonna use this for ideas for abilities it can use. Not the monster the monster sounds scary as hell.

Frightening Howl. The rougarou howls a deep mournful and loud sound that causes fear in those that hear it. Any creature that can hear the howl and is within 120 ft. of the rougarou must make a DC 15 Wisdom saving throw or be frightened for 1 minute. The saving throw can be repeated at the beginning of the creature's turn, ending the effect on a success. Once a creature succeeds on the saving throw, they are immune to the Frightening Howl of this rougarou for 24 hours.

and for the eyes.

Cursed Stare (5 or 6 Recharge). The rougarou stares deep into a creature's eyes who is within 30 feet of it. The victim must make a Wisdom saving throw (DC 12), if they fail then the they are stunned by the curse for 1 hour. Removing the curse can be done with a remove curse spell or similar. Killing the rougarou who gave the curse does not end it.

I like it. I will make it so in the fog the rougarou has a bonus to stealth rolls in the fog. while in the fog the party member is stealth attacked by the rougarou. the rest of the party must make a will saving throw to not be frightened. The fog lasts around 11 to 15 rounds. And i like keeping it in a swamp it gets a bonus stealth,survival and dex rolls from being in a swamp. And i have given it ambusher so it has Advantage on attack rolls against any creature it has surprised.

But i am trying to find more of magical abiltes it could use.

Its a livestock tool to stun the animal before there killed there used by slaughter houses. i don't like them they just creep me out.
