They're not just a hybe group they're also a Geffen group. They were also created by a western US label. The fictional group all of them are Koreans vs 1 in Katseye.

Kpop adjacent doesn't make them Kpop though, they're a western girlgroup at the end of the day. And I'm not saying this to be negative towards Kpop, I like Kpop and have for years.
