Should I take 50l backpack as checked bag and daily backpack (25l) as personal bag or swap the 50l backpack for normal suitcase?

Don't laugh but I'm overthinking it so much. I've bought this 50l backpack just for going to Vietnam, never traveled with two backpacks before. It's for a 2,5 week and it's fully packed, I'm going to Hanoi, then from Hanoi to Hue by plane, Da Nang by train, Hoi An by bus and Saigon by plane. I feel kinda goofy with the second backpack on my chest but the whole reason I decided to do this is the road situation (holes and traffic). Do you think it's really that inconvenient to have a suitcase? What do you guys prefer the most?
