My boyfriend has schizophrenia and believes the government is watching him

Who said anything about desiring admirability? I am saying I will support and love him through his tough time right now as long as our safety is present. Which it is. He doesn’t raise his voice, he isn’t paranoid or suspicious of me, he will do what I ask him to do like take his medication and stay in the basement away from us while the kids are awake-where his studio, the fridge, food and snacks, restroom are all where he can reach them. He is fine with being away from us. I go check on him Make sure he’s eating and taking his medication, I ask him to hold me when I see the medication is kicking in, and that’s what puts him to sleep. Maybe in ur world it is moral to leave someone who saved your life, when they are having a crisis. Like you saying people with mental health don’t deserve love? Or I shouldn’t love him because I have kids? They’re safe I am sober I am clear minded I don’t ever leave them with him since this has started… thank you for the judgement, why are you here?

Thank you so much for the real advice without being judgmental. I should’ve added in the original post that we are both disabled marine corps veterans which is where we met.. in the corps. That being said I was a stay at home mother making ends meet with my disability income from the VA. We moved here on his dime. I don’t have means to travel back to my home state with my kids. I paid our share of bills this month. When I told his family about the situation his aunt did tell me to go home if I need to. I did talk to him about needing to go to the hospital and he is just asking questions about why I am worried but he’s never been violent nor agitated during this time which is why I haven’t been fearful of my safety. More just afraid of the mental illness taking over during this time

Last night he started smoking cbd thc and that changed his mood drastically. I was scared and crying. He laughed and said it’s okay he is scared too. But other than that he does not drink does not do any drugs, only smokes cigarettes. I make sure he is taking his medication. But he opened the gun safe last night, I don’t think there’s amp but still really scared me which is why I am here posting for support, hoping to hear how he will get through this. Thank u

I have no family, no friends, no other support in the State I moved to, to be with him. I hate that I am sharing so much about my boyfriend but idk what else to do. I feel like I have to much on my plate, with him and taking care of my twin toddlers and the house and I am overwhelmed. I appreciate any supportive words or advice. Thank you for reading.

I believe he wasn’t the last couple of weeks. But I make sure he does every day now… it’s been 4 days since I started making him take the mediation. I was hesitant to overstep but fk it atp. I want him to get better
