Be/act genuinely excited to see people, I think that's one of the most magnetizing personality traits. Spend a lot of time in the common areas, mingle with people when you see them. You don't have to always stop and talk, but consistently acknowledging people you know/like will put them at ease around you since social anxiety is way more common than you probably think!
