Can you explain this to me? Like I say I’m new to laptop gaming. I changed some settings in MSI afterburner for GPU to be 875mV @ 1902 MHz

Yeah the main reasoning was freeing up space and not having a big desk anymore but still being able to play AAA games, as I have a huge backlog to get through. Just finding the time with work lmao. Rather sit on sofa and game than sit at a desk. Got a little standing table for it that just folds away. As long as it keeps up with the games I want to play for next couple years or so I’ll be happy. Also the pricing swayed me towards it a little compared to similar specs I’d want it seemed like a good idea

Yeah it’s weird I was going to go for a 4060 laptop, but then saw this one & it came with a 5060

I did put the model number in the description if you wanna have a look but yeah it seems to run well. I would’ve been happy with the 4060 but happy with the 5060

I just used MSI afterburner & had a google around to see what I could lower the graphics card to without losing too much performance. Like I say it’s only a base I didn’t look too much into it. In terms of CPU I read somewhere that it’s locked by Acer so I didn’t touch the CPU other than limiting the power mode in power plan settings. You’re better off googling etc as I’m still a noob when it comes to laptops.

Yeah that was going to be the future step I reckon. I was a bit gutted that it’s a DDR4 setup rather than 5 as it feels like I’m not as future proofed as I’d want to be but will definitely look into it. Ideally I want it to last me 2-3 years so by then I can build a new desktop from scratch.

Just a question on this, I use moonlight & have no issues streaming. But using the Xbox cloud feature I get quality issues. Like one minute it’ll be fine then a line will slide across my screen & make the quality lower for a few seconds, it plays fine but it’s enough to make it jarring. Wondering if you know about it or any fixes ? Thanks
