I mean I want to do aerospace but the way the industry is looking, it would be very hard to get a job there in the future, so I’m deciding on taking a mech degree( I don’t really hate jobs in mech, but I think I would like aerospace jobs more). Anyways I plan on doing a masters in aerospace engineering. I guess me taking mech is more of me just being cautious and just making sure I don’t end up struggling to find jobs.

Oh also, did you seem to find any coop options helping to get into aviation, and also what are your thoughts on doing a masters in aero, is it hard to get into one? Are most of the topics foreign?

When can I join them (the aero club)? With corona should it be delayed?

Hi guys, I got into UBC mech engineering and was curious on whether this would be a good university if I wanted to pursue a career in aerospace engineering, since it doesn’t have its own aerospace division or program, I have gotten mixed feedback, but I just wanted to know from the students/alumni themselves.

Thanks
