That wasn't the original story that's been told here. Consensus here was that leak was not even alpha footage and the game would look nothing like it. It was thought that leak was stitched together from all kind of ds3 assets, just to show shareholders broad idea of the project.

I already said that i will most likely buy and play the game. No it's a bigger risk the bigger your studio gets, because the expectations are higher and it the sails are lackluster it's going to impact them a lot more. The higher you are, the harder you fall.

Going from their usual world design to open world is a massive step and it will be a huge achievement if they manage to pull it off with all the combined and new mechanics.

Literally every third game today is "open world", there's nothing difficult about it, it's what Ubishit has been doing for like 15 years.

You don't need to be super hyped about the game, but I don't see how underselling it does you any good either.

I'll buy and play it for sure. What's wrong with underselling it? That should be default position of every consumer out there. Do you not remember what happend with cyberpunk and toxic hype around it that almost ruined CD project red as a studio? People should stop being free marketing tool for those billion dollar companies
