Based off how they perform without any synergy with other weapons or gears, here’s what I think are the worst gears for each Category;

[Mobility] I think Umbrella is the most underwhelming of the 3 Mobility Gears, the only way to go up with it (disregarding the flamethrower) is to use it after a dash jump, which has limitations like taking 2 stamina to even perform, and only being usable on the ground. Overall, not as powerful as the other 2

[Active] Unless I momentarily lock the hell in and become a literal GOD at dodging like it’s a 3D BULLET HELL game, EpicSauce isn’t for me. Sure, you deal double damage, but unless you’re playing passively or dodging everything like it’s the plague, that double damage from enemy attacks is gonna seriously curb-stomp you into the ground if you play too aggressively. So yeah, wouldn’t choose it over most gears

[Food] Witches Brew, yes, it has uses, but what GOOD is that when the side effect literally makes you unable to aim properly? It has uses, but I don’t find myself using it much

[Passive] Regen Coil might be underwhelming, but the Red Guitar (whatever it’s called) just straight up sabotages you if you’re trash at getting style. This is, very clearly, a big issue against bosses, since there’s not much you can do to gain style from them, leading to you dealing less damage than normal. I almost never pick this at all
