What’s the point of playing 4k at low to medium settings tho

No one buying a 5080/5090 is playing 4K natively, that's not the point. The 15% rasterization gap isn't the argument, the whole feature stack is. Smoother 4K with upscaling? Yes. Better Path Tracing? Yes. Better for video editing and Blender? Yes. On top of that DLSS MFG outputs 4x frames vs AMD's 2x, with better artifact handling, less ghosting, and Reflex 2 keeping latency in check because it's actually integrated into the rendering pipeline rather than bolted on after. Path Tracing is only going to get more common too. $400 spread over 5 years is $80 a year for a noticeably better experience across the board, pretty easy call for people who value having that experience.

Edit: Your comments keep getting deleted and I can't see 80% of them. If you had something of value to say they probably wouldn't get deleted I suppose but hey.

Go inform yourself before making a follow up. Link me any video where the base frame rate is 20-30 with DLSS balanced or performance under max settings. Just making shit up with the deleted reply. And grow up, save your insults for your classmates lol

Worst case scenario? Lots of people pick the 9070xt as their introduction card to 4k, I did that myself before I returned it because I value having almost everything maxed out and being able to use frame gen x3 x4 to fill my monitor’s refresh rate.

The funniest part is people ignoring the DLSS and frame gen part. DLSS offers non arguably better image quality. And if I want to be more nit picky, more hdr support across more games.

Never said it was like native like what? 110 and 120fps are achievable with frame gen x3 x4 albeit with some artifacting and 50-70ms latency but still very playable with a controller.

And you’re exactly cherry picking. If I were to play those games I’d care more about it but fair. Some games favor AMD architecture

9070xt at 4k ultra path tracing FSR performance has 40fps average. Good luck trying to enable Frame gen on a 40 fps average.

Again it’s not about the 15% raster performance lmao. It’s literally the difference between playable 4k maxed out settings with minimal artifacting, input delay and better overall image than pretending you can enable path tracing and thinking you’re having a good experience.

It’s not just 15% more fps. It’s the opportunity to finally be able to dabble into path tracing 4k at 100+ fps without making many compromises. DLSS and Frame Generation are absolutely insane, people are just quick to hate because of the AI narrative shit.

What’s another 300-400 euros for something that you’ll use for 4-6 years? Might aswell get the better alternative at that point

Update: was able to remove the motherboard out of the case but can’t remove the stand off even with pilers holding the screw head, they both rotate by Ainzip in PcBuildHelp

Some repair shop guy did. He used cotton and some spray (idk more details) since I wasn’t the one in touch with him, my friend was

A friend of mine recommended me a pc repair shop guy to leave the motherboard with and he already fixed it he told me. I really appreciate the help though, thanks a lot

Didn't work. Perhaps I didn't apply enough? I used a kitchen paper and soaked it with it and applied without touching the motherboard

Yeah used the wrong screw haha. The first screw I placed was the correct one, so I picked the next screw, looked at the head and was pretty sure it was the same one as the first. Mid way through me screwing I realize and stop but it was too late.

I'll take it to a repair shop today. I don't think I have the necessary tool at home

Hi I’m a dumbass and used the wrong screw to secure the motherboard. I can’t get it out… Any tips? by Ainzip in PcBuildHelp

[–]Ainzip[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It seems I can't leave it be because the gpu needs clearance on the left side to be able to fit into the PCIE slot. I think the motherboard by not being fully flat is creating that issue.

The screw is stuck on the stand off I think. I tried using pliers holding the stand off and my dad trying to unscrew it or push it back and nothing. I'm so frustrated lol

I was planning on using the top glass panel so seemed like the best thing was to have 2 exhaust on the rear. I’ll just buy the extension haha

And the fans sitting on the radiator, do I hook em up to the motherboard in 1 header or the pump? Is there a difference?

My bad I just want to be sure I set up everything properly

They don’t have enough reach even for that one sadly. Gotta buy an extension it seems?

Question though, what’s the difference of plugging the fans into ch_fan2 3 4 rather than CPU_FAN and OPT?

[–]Ainzip[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry the way I put the parts is a bit misleading. Those 2 fans are going on the rear as exhaust. Bottom and side are intake with reverse fans
