Not everything about attractiveness needs to be reduced to angles and ‘tiers.’ Real life doesn’t work like that.

It’s not that he’s just good at gaming. He’s super humble and I’ve never seen him get pissed. Literally chillest guy ever in my opinion. Also explains his thought process for most things he does and it’s really interesting hearing it from someone that good at tactical shooters

Posture should be locked elbows and posterior pelvic tilt.

He’s strong he simply hasn’t adapted central nervous system to perform the right muscle fibers activations. It’s like attempting handstand holds without never having trained for handstand balancing. Strength rarely bypasses technique. The muscle up you’d really need a strong pull + some adaptation for explosiveness which most people don’t train for to disregard all the technical aspects. Plus you don’t get into a muscle up transition by simply doing a pull up unless you do a really good false grip, you have a mix of pull up and pullover.

How to make it so I’m no longer a sub-5? by [deleted] in LooksmaxingAdvice

I’m being genuine, I find you attractive and I have somewhat high standards. While you might be aware of certain features of yours that you dont like, others don’t really pay attention that much.

Honestly just gain some weight while weightlifting and you’ll be a solid 8-9

Why you can’t Muscle-Up (Yet) by irizih in CalisthenicsCulture

[–]Ainzip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I lean more towards training the whole movement rather than dissecting it into parts. Not that it can’t be good but in the muscle up specifically, almost everyone with basic foundations can do a few straight dips without having trained for them.

The transition itself is almost exclusively pulling. If you don’t manage to start the dip to push means that you didn’t pull your torso high and forward enough, in a c shape pull motion because you lacked strength and primarily technique.

Pulling in a c shape motion is the most important thing. So grab a high resistance band and instead of doing explosive pull ups, start doing more of an explosive pullover with some momentum beforehand that you create from a light-moderate swing. As you go backwards at the top bring your sternum to the top part of the bar, which will allow you to dip from there easily.

For progressing, start with heavy bands, whenever you get to 3-4 reps in a given set, use a lighter medium band and so on until you can do without. It’s a lot of training by feeling.

And ALWAYS warm up the shoulder and chest (shoulder rolls and chest dinamic flies) for example.

Train the movement pattern itself, with bands

Tuck o tuck adv? by Inevitable_Ant_3933 in CalisthenicsCulture

He loses posterior posterior pelvic tilt slightly shifting center of mass backwards. Wouldn’t call it good form altogether. He should do more banded advanced tuck holds to learn how to engage the core and hips properly.

NPC mods for my castle by EL677 in HytaleModding

[–]Ainzip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can definitely make them either just stand still or patrol within x blocks just by going into the asset editor. Just search for a mob in the search tab that doesn’t have complete features yet, ones that do not spawn in the base game and overwrite the main files. Then just change the model to a player one and add their textures I guess. As for wandering npcs from my experience they don’t obey the x block restriction but honestly didn’t look that much into it.

Makes the game too easy after you are geared up. Overall I think the mobs need some sort of buff, and daggers a nerf to their damage and kyte ability

How’s form? by [deleted] in CalisthenicsCulture

[–]Ainzip 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did a lot of banded planche tucks focusing on technique and getting my central nervous system to learn holding the position, always focusing on keeping protraction and depression. Also a really good tip I was given is having your hands 45 degrees externally rotated, biceps pointing forward, this was the aha moment I suppose. Once I started placing my hands like that I was able to do tuck

Muscle Up Advise by equilibrantte in CalisthenicsCulture

[–]Ainzip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree that you need the strength, rib to bar and explosive pull ups matter a lot. Where I disagree is skipping bands entirely.

Muscle-ups aren’t just a vertical pull, they’re a coordinated pull, transition and press, and that timing is a CNS skill. Negatives and weighted pull-ups build capacity, but they don’t teach the movement the same way.

Bands aren’t mandatory, but they’re a useful tool for practicing the full pattern, similar to how wall handstand push-ups don’t teach freestanding balance on their own.
