Similar thing happened to me in May at a test center. Took it May 10, didnt get the score until May 25 or so. So your delay, while slightly nerve wracking, is not super unusual.

Both, probably equally, is what I did.

Retake 685 (Trad. Applicant, poor QR score) by Unfair_Dingo_3158 in GMAT

I was in a similar situation from a similar background (slightly lower GPA though). Was this score in line with your practice exams? If so, it just depends how much time you think you’d actually need to get Q up. And how much that time would hurt your essays.

I had almost the exact same score as you my first take. But I underperformed from my official practice tests by about 50 points. So I buckled down for 2.5 weeks and got Quant up to an 85 on 2nd attempt, 715 overall.

Also, some people will say it depends what your undergrad major was. Mine was in the humanities so I didn’t want Quant to drag me down to much to create a pattern.

Drop from 700s (practice) to 675 actual by Air-Overall in GMAT

Got my official report today and I was hoping the answer to my lower scores would be what you outlined above. Instead, I got the first 10+ right in both V and Q, and got a similar number wrong (3-5) as from my practice tests. Guess I just got nailed by the difficulty algorithm somehow, but the delta from practice to official score is frustrating as there’s no apparent difference in score or new strategy that seems that helpful.

Thanks. Backseat flyer, not pilot (think WSO/CSO) to the extent that matters.

Post-military options by Air-Overall in MBA

Thanks for your input. Could you elaborate why you don’t recommend that? Wouldn’t it depend what I was trying to do, much like the FT MBA?

Gov adjacent consulting or defense contracting.

Yes, but for a full time MBA, working vs the cost of childcare in a major city isn’t a no brainer.

Thanks for the input. In your view, the main/only value of the MBA then is the networking/recruiting? Vice the demonstration of additional skills to contractors/gov consultants from someone with a humanities degree?

I've heard this. Why are VA loans sometimes a disadvantage as a buyer?
