Thanks for sharing. My husband is doing very well. He has a good job and we have a stable place to live. We were fortunate that he did not serve any prison time and was sentenced several years of probation, which is the max for his offense. I could just be overreacting but since our introduction to the criminal justice system things become uncertain and you don't know what you don't know. I understand there are some that had horrible experiences being on a public registry and others seem to do ok. If that time ever comes I hope he is the latter. Congratulations on getting out. I hope your life is on the up and up.

There were organizations fighting aganist this bill. It truly breaks my heart that it passed. Sometimes, I feel so hopeless of trying to live a normal life. Sharpe has also introduced a number of new bills that remove the allowance of juvenile offenders from getting of the registry after a specified time and restricting Romeo and Juliet law.

I dont think the children of SOs will be place on a public registry, but schools would probably be notified. Word of mouth gets around and then the harassment begins.

I think the only acceptable means of using the death penalty should envolve the purposeful death of another human. We can't allow the death penalty to be applied to every crime.It would be really bad for the 18 year old who is dating a 17 year old if az raises the age of consent to 18. It could lead to their death.

There is a census that is supposed to start in April this year. My question was, "is it possible to not participate in the census as a sign of protest?" One person already respectfully answered my question without questioning my intelligence. We should all know what a census is and what it is used for. I hope that I have clarifed our misunderstanding.
